Covid-19 Vaccine Pop Up Site in
Bracknell Town Centre
this Friday (9 July) to
Monday (12 July)

As part of our continued drive to encourage our younger population in Bracknell Forest to get vaccinated, we will have a Covid-19 vaccination pop-up unit in Bracknell town centre this Friday (9 July) to Monday (12 July).

If you have a child, a relative or friend, aged 18+ who is yet to receive their first Covid-19 vaccination, then why not pop along with them, or encourage them to pass by on their travels, to grab-a-jab at their convenience. Our team of vaccinators will be available between 12 noon and 7pm each day, over the course of the four days.

The good news is that no appointment is needed and no ID is required. Simply just turn up and provide your name and address. Please note that this service will not be providing second doses of the vaccination.

If you’re unable to get to the town centre, there are other ways in which vaccine appointments (first and second doses of the vaccine) can be pre-booked:-

Anyone who is aged 18+ and is registered with the following practices in Bracknell Forest, can book by contacting the Waitrose site on 01344 233 300 or 07518 900 306. Alternatively, email info@berkshireprimarycare.co.uk

  • Binfield Surgery, Easthampstead Surgery, Forest Health Group, Gainsborough Practice, Great Hollands Medical Practice, Green Meadows, Kings Corner Surgery, Magnolia House, Sandhurst Group Practice or Waterfield.

Those aged 18+ and registered with the following practices, can pre-book by emailing baccg.ringmead.healthtriangle@nhs.net or text 07840 887 023.

  • Evergreen Practice, Crownwood Medical Centre and Ringmead Medical Practice

Alternatively, anyone over the age of 18, no matter where they live and whether it’s for their first or second jab, can book on-line via www.NHS.uk, selecting the relevant Coronavirus (COVID 19) tab, or by calling 119.

In line with the government’s latest guidance for second dose appointments of the COVID-19 vaccine, this can now be brought forward from 12 to eight weeks for all cohorts who have yet to receive their second dose. This is to ensure everyone has the strongest possible protection from the Delta variant of the virus at the earliest opportunity possible.

The Covid-19 vaccination programme across Bracknell Forest continues to drive forward at pace.

As a town and a country, the more people that are vaccinated, the greater our chances are of moving out of this pandemic in the safest possible way.
