Home-Start Bracknell Forest - Volunteering opportunities

Home-Start are looking for new family support Volunteers with parenting experience who can spare 2-3 hours each week to help a local family.

We would be very grateful if you could help us reach more local people and share with your wider community and network.

Who is Home-Start

Home-Start Bracknell Forest is an early year’s family support charity, providing regular volunteer-led 1-2-1 support to local families in their own homes. Many parents feel exhausted and overwhelmed by the stresses of family life, particularly if they have little support from family and friends, just when they need it most.

Home-Start Bracknell Forest recruits and trains volunteers from within Bracknell Forest. They carefully match the volunteer with a family in need of support.
Home-Start support Bracknell Forest parents with at least one child aged under 5 years old who are dealing with challenges like isolation and loneliness, poor mental health, sickness and disability, domestic abuse, multiple birth and difficult relationships.
