Competition

Judges are hoping you can entertain your neighbours and passers-by with plants or a scarecrow inspired by royalty.
This competition is free to enter.
Entries from businesses are welcome.
Your entry could be plant-based, in a tub, hanging basket, pot, flowerbed or other receptacle. Or you could make a structural entry, such as a scarecrow.
Ultimately, judges will be looking for entries which are:
- Bright and eye-catching
- Inspired by royalty
- Clearly visible from the pavement
- Entertaining
A household can enter more than one entry.
If you are competing within the family, please complete an entry form for each participant.
Just your first name, along with your house number and street may be displayed on a list or map so people can walk around the village admiring the entries.
Entry forms must be returned to projects@crowthorne-pc.gov.uk or a parish council office by Monday 24th April.
Entries must be visible from the pavement from 1st - 8th May.
Judging will take place the week commencing 1st May.
The judges decision is final.
Prizes kindly donated by Wellington College.
Judges will announce the winners, and award prizes, at the Morgan Recreation Ground at Crowthorne’s Coronation - Party in the Park, on Saturday 6th May. Timings tbc.
Photos taken of entries and at the prize giving event will be used to promote Crowthorne’s Coronation - Party in the Park.
